Position: Process Engineer
Type: Contract (6+ months)

Hourly Pay: $38-$42/hr. (Based on Experience)
SUMMARY
Kelly Engineering is looking to hire a qualified Process Engineer to join the R&D Team for our client located in Sunnyvale, CA. This opportunity is a 6-month contract with the possibility of an extension. The Process Engineer (Array R&D) will be responsible for supporting Biochip Array R&D activities and microarray printing. This role is central and highly visible, requiring communication across various groups. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn and consistently perform microarray print runs, review results, and provide troubleshooting support as needed
- Engage in problem-solving and continuously seek improvements in routine microarray printing processes
- Manage the inventory of commonly used lab supplies and chemicals, maintain equipment information, equipment procedures, calibration records, user logbooks, and scheduling activities
- Regularly collect, document, summarize, and communicate data and trends
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Over 2 years of relevant industry experience (Biotech/Molecular Diagnostics/Medical Device)
- Proficiency and accuracy in handling small volume preparations
- Experience with analytical techniques such as UV-Vis spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, etc.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with experience in both written and electronic documentation
- Meticulous attention to detail

- Experience using liquid handlers
- Experience working in regulated environments
