An established Florida-based 503A pharmaceutical company is opening 2 brand new 503B manufacturing facilities in Florida: one near Tampa and the other near West Palm Beach! They are looking to hire a Pharmacist-in-Charge for both facilities as they begin to get them up and running.
The Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) ensures compliance with SOPs, state and federal regulations, and supervises pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and cleanroom personnel. The PIC collaborates with leadership to meet production goals, supports investigations, oversees daily operations, monitors training, and ensures quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining pharmacy licenses.
- Supervising staff across all production stages.
- Overseeing compounding areas, conducting regular walkthroughs, and managing SOPs.
- Leading regulatory audits and batch documentation review.
- Hiring, training, and managing employees.
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
- Managing DEA quotas and handling controlled substances.
The PIC may also compound pharmaceuticals and perform other assigned duties.
