Job Title: IT Field Support
Location : New York, NY Onsite
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Summary:
The main function of IT field support is to facilitate maintenance and repairs of hardware and computer devices. A Field Service Technician will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform primary job functions.
Job Responsibilities:
• Supporting users onsite through Help Desk using salesforce for the ticketing systems, unblocking users and methodical trouble shooting
• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
• Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
• Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
Skills:
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Basic problem-solving and analysis skills.
Must Have :
Salesforce Experience, methodical troubleshooting’s.
IT Tools, NDN, multi factor authentication .
Education/Experience:
• Associate’s degree, Computer Science Degree or its equivalent in the field or a related area preferred.
