Job Summary
- Provides medical equipment products and services following company policies, procedures, and standards to meet the needs of patients and referral sources.
- Responsible for routine sales, repair, and service of manual and power wheelchairs including related rehab equipment.
- Participates in rehab seating clinics including the Avera Seating Clinic.
Education and/or Experience
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or six to nine months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in power wheelchairs and related electronics required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Registered Complex Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (RRTS) with the National Registry of Rehabilitation Suppliers (NRRTS) preferred.
- Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) preferred.
- This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, on-call rotation; 80 hours every 2 weeks
