General App Design Maintenance and Enhancements
Designers in this position will have the opportunity to contribute to some of the largest apps in America. Their work will directly influence user experiences, empowering individuals to comprehend and manage their daily finances more effectively.
The team operates in a highly collaborative environment that emphasizes open communication.
Daily Activities:
- Participation in daily stand-up meetings.
- 3 touchpoints per week for project discussions and feedback sessions.
- Engagement with product owners and developers tailored to their specific project phase.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS:
- 6+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Sketch/InVision (transitioning to Figma)
- Figma expertise
- Experience in creating design systems
- Competent in low, mid, and high fidelity designs
- Proven ability to gather and translate requirements from business sponsors, SMEs, users, and business analysts
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey ideas effectively.
PREFERRED/BONUS SKILLS:
- Understanding of web accessibility standards
- Deep knowledge of user-centered design techniques with a proven track record of integrating UCD principles into user interface architecture and design.
- Experience with mobile app design
- Familiarity with iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design Guidelines
- Animation (prototyping skills)
Educational and Certification Requirements for Candidate Success: A Bachelor’s degree is required (Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields) or equivalent experience, along with 6+ years of relevant work experience.
