We are searching for a detailed oriented, well organized individual who can work independently and prioritize the workload as needed. This individual should take pride in their work and take direction with ease. This candidate should have excellent communication skills, including both speaking and email correspondence with clients. Potential sales opportunities and bonuses may be available for highly motivated individuals. This is an in office/ non remote position with office domiciled in Brookfield, WI.
Responsibilities
Gain strong knowledge in the insurance industry and with the carriers plan options to answer clients questions completely.
Communicate clearly and efficiently with agent regularly. Work to achieve insurance license if not already held.
Send, review and process insurance applications for new clients, existing clients new employees and changes. Ensure all required documents are completed, submitted, confirmed and recorded relative to sales/enrollments/ terminations.
Complete and update employee census for individual and group clients
Communicate/ follow up with carriers and clients on any questions/omissions in a timely fashion.
Explain plan structures, rules, deadlines to clients.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with all clients.
Work to resolve claim, billing, and eligibility issues that may arise.
Request and run proposals for appropriate insurance carriers for quoting and offers
Prepare comparisons of newly quoted health, dental plans to the clients existing plan. Gather materials and assist agent in client meetings as necessary including plan descriptions, network information and general client guidance
Qualifications
3+ years in customer service required; insurance license or HR experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. High School diploma required; college education and insurance health/life license preferred.
