PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION
The Maintenance Assistant I is responsible for assistance with repairs and maintenance projects and work orders as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Completes repairs, maintenance projects and work orders as assigned.
• Coordinates storage of donated supplies as received and pulling items for use requested by program
• Delivers donated supplies to other locations as needed.
• Displays strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Shows the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrates the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Displays strong initiative.
• Is change adaptive and flexible.
• Models Center’s expectation for sensitivity and competency relating to diversity and cultural awareness.
• Coordinate with 3rd-party vendors and contractors to schedule, monitor and complete work.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or able to obtain one prior to employment
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 2+ years of related experience
