Focus Talent Solutions is recruiting for a Production Scheduler for two of our clients located within the Tri-Cities of Michigan. This position is a direct hire and due to the client's requirements, you must be a US Citizen.
This is for a manufacturing company where you will be responsible for the manufacturing process associated with planning the production within the facility
Summary of duties:
- Work with vendors, customers, and logistic team to track past due purchase orders
- Troubleshoot production variances
- Review system for material requirement and manage deliveries, dates, and ensure proper supplies
- Work directly with production and procurement to make necessary adjustments to scheduling and ensure client information is correct
- Coordinate with departments: sales, customers, production, procurement, quality, reliability and safety
- Support OTD
- Monitor inventory and improve processes
Education and experience we are looking for:
- 5 years in a manufacturing setting
- Experience using ERP software and Microsoft software
- Basic Math
- The ability to pay attention to detail
- The ability to work as a team and independently
