National sales provider seeking dynamic Senior Analyst to add to staff. Growing finance group is looking for someone who not only wants to make an impact on a daily basis but also enjoys having internal business partners and occasional traveling to visit with them onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary financial (budgeting, forecasting, etc.) and analytical contact for station level operations
- Provide financial support and guidance to achieve district financial and operational objectives
- Work closely with the station teams and site operations to identify, measure, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with stack ranking of top and bottom performing locations
- Oversee and contribute to budgets, forecasts and other special projects.
- Conduct variance analyses on labor, maintenance, fuel, and discretionary accounts to identify and mitigate known gaps
- Drive regional investment initiatives
- Work creatively with multiple business functions such as Operations, Sales and Pricing to identify and support revenue growth and cost saving opportunities
- Evaluate financial issues and provide necessary solutions and recommendations; conduct and interpret complex research to evaluate alignment with the business strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
- 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting, or budgeting
- Experience with Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills, including creating complex formulas; ability to perform database collection and use software programs to gather data for modeling
- Thorough knowledge of financial monitoring and control, and general ledger and accounts payable processes and procedures
- Ability to think critically and leverage available resources to troubleshoot reporting issues and data anomalies
