Hours: 9-4:30 pm Monday through Friday (32.5/hr)
Pay: $25-27/hr
Job Description:
Addison Group is hiring a Receptionist on behalf of our client. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and the willingness to assist a diverse range of individuals. This role requires someone who can maintain a professional and welcoming environment while handling various administrative tasks. This role is 100% in office and works 32.50 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls, provide information, and redirect inquiries as needed, using voicemail when appropriate.
- Greet and direct visitors and clients to the correct departments or staff members.
- Notify team members of client arrivals and support General Assistance staff.
- Distribute printed materials on available programs and services.
- Sort and distribute mail, and assist with handling donations and issuing receipts.
- Input donor information into the database and assist with emergency aid when required.
- Schedule appointments and answer questions for programs such as tax assistance and senior services.
- Assist with voter registration, transit pass applications, and issuing disabled parking placards.
- Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and organized.
- Perform other administrative tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to assist individuals from various backgrounds.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Bilingual in Spanish is required.
