Experience and Skills
- Batchelor of Science in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, or related degree) and at least 10 years relevant work experience (willing to consider a range of work and educational levels)
- Java and C/C++ programming (including network, multi-threaded, client-server programming where applicable) on Linux platforms
- C++ backend implementations, driver development
- Experience in addressing software race conditions
- Batch File, Python Scripting
- Solid understanding of relational database applications and creation of expressions
- Proven Docker/Container & Kubernetes design and implementation knowledge and experience
- Proven ability to design software solutions to complex engineering problems & accurately estimate the effort to get them accomplished
- Proven ability to lead teams in software development, and mentor/coach newer software engineers
- Proven ability and experience in defining and developing requirements with customers, defining/architecting a solution to satisfy them, and developing the test methodology to verify them
- Ability to learn, take ownership, and deliver high-quality results in an unstructured environment
- Experience using Atlassian tools and working in an Agile software development environment
- CI/CD Pipeline Experience
- A self-starter and able to work in a fast paced execution environment, with small and large engineering project teams (an absolute must)
