Position Overview
We are seeking an estate planning and probate attorney to join our growing team. This role offers significant client interaction and the opportunity to manage your own caseload. The ideal candidate will be adept at building strong client relationships while handling a diverse range of estate planning and probate matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage a personal caseload of estate planning and probate matters
- Conduct client meetings, gather information, and explain complex estate planning strategies in understandable terms
- Draft and review a wide range of estate planning documents, including standard wills and trusts, as well as more complex instruments for high net worth clients
- Assist with estate tax planning and asset protection strategies
- Handle probate and trust administration cases
- Conduct legal research on complex estate planning issues
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on sophisticated estate planning matters
- Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in estate planning, probate, and tax law
Qualifications
- Admission to Nevada state bar.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build strong client relationships
- Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to explain complex legal and financial concepts to clients clearly and concisely
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- LLM in Taxation is preferred but not required
- 3+ years of experience in estate planning or probate is preferred but not required
