They are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join their team as the Senior Director, Biostatistics. In this role, you will manage a team of biostatisticians and provide statistical support for all early stage clinical trials and research programs for their exciting pipeline
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a small team of direct reports whilst managing CRO’s and Vendors
- Provide statistical leadership for designing and analyzing pre-clinical and phase 1 and 2 studies across multiple therapeutic areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision making throughout the drug development process
- Interact with regulatory agencies and participate in regulatory meetings and submissions
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
- Represent the biostatistics function in partnership with other functional leaders in the organization
Qualifications:
- Master’s in Statistics related field with 15 years direct sponsor experience or PhD degree with 10 years direct sponsor experience in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field
- Strong experience in Early Development Clinical Trials
- Experience in regulatory interactions and submissions, including INDs and NDAs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and develop a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a drive for innovation and continuous improvement
