What You Will Do:
IT Dispatching:
• Receive and prioritize IT service requests from various departments.
• Allocate tasks to the appropriate IT technicians based on skills, workload, and urgency.
• Monitor the progress of ongoing tasks and ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate updates and resolution times to relevant stakeholders and/or clients.
Procurement:
• Collaborate with technicians and Project Managers to understand IT equipment and supply needs.
• Research and identify suitable vendors for IT-related products and services.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
• Track and manage inventory levels of IT equipment and supplies.
Vendor Management:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors.
• Evaluate vendor performance and adherence to contractual agreements.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies with vendors in a timely manner.
Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of IT service requests, dispatch activities, and procurement transactions.
• Generate reports on IT dispatching and procurement metrics for management review.
Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all IT dispatching and procurement activities.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and recommend improvements to existing processes.
What You Have Done:

• Proven experience in IT dispatching or a related field.
• Strong understanding of IT equipment and supplies procurement processes.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of IT support ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Education and Certifications:
• Associate’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in IT dispatching or procurement (e.g., ITIL, CSCP) are a plus.
