Position: Electrical Engineer
Purpose of the Role: The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in supporting the planning and engineering design for various construction projects, working closely with the Director of Engineering. Responsibilities include assisting with proposals, and estimates, and providing support for both traditional and design/build projects. The position will also involve mentoring junior team members and interacting with clients during the design and construction phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Engineering to support project design, estimation, and construction efforts.
- Ensure that designs meet client expectations and are practical for field implementation
- Help develop consistent engineering and design processes across the company.
- Prepare specifications, drawings, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with standards and client needs.
- Conduct calculations to establish standards for construction and installation processes.
- Maintain adherence to company standards for engineering and BIM practices.
- Write reports, prepare estimates, and participate in meetings as needed to support project development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 7 years of experience in engineering or construction, preferably in a consulting or design capacity.
- P.E. License preferred. If not acquired, on the path to acquire within 1-2 years.
- Proficiency with engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, SKM) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong communication, organizational, and team-working ski
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities,

Work Environment: This role operates within a business-casual setting, with standard working hours of 8 AM – 5 PM. Flexibility may be required based on the project needs.
