As an IT Deployment Technician, you will play a critical role in the successful completion of a large-scale hardware rollout project for a community bank that recently merged with another institution. This project will involve imaging, deploying, and assisting users with new hardware across 40-50 locations throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition to new hardware, following detailed instructions, and providing on-site and remote support to employees during the process.
Responsibilities:
•Image, configure, and deploy approximately 700 machines across multiple locations.
•Perform hardware installations, ensuring proper setup, configuration, and functionality.
•Provide end-user support during and after the hardware rollout, ensuring a seamless transition.
•Work closely with IT support teams to escalate and resolve any issues.
•Follow established guidelines and procedures for installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
•Travel to various corporate centers and branches to perform on-site installations.
•Document completed tasks and maintain an organized record of deployed systems.
•Adhere to the project timeline to ensure all tasks are completed within the designated timeframe.
Qualifications:
•Previous experience with hardware rollouts, deployments, or IT support.
•Strong knowledge of hardware imaging processes and deployment tools.
•Familiarity with remote and on-site technical support.
•Ability to follow instructions and troubleshooting steps with precision.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with end-users and team members.
•Willingness to travel to different locations in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
