Role Summary:
Leverage your technical expertise and leadership abilities to oversee the planning, designing, and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure. Work collaboratively to develop solutions for wastewater treatment, pumping stations, and collection systems, ensuring projects meet both client needs and regulatory standards.
This role involves active engagement with clients, delivering presentations, and overseeing project coordination. It also requires liaising with multiple municipalities and regulatory government agencies to ensure compliance and facilitate project approvals.
This individual will direct the development of design computations, detailed plans, precise specifications, comprehensive reports, and the application process for permits related to wastewater initiatives. Additionally, this position is responsible for overseeing the construction administration stages, ensuring seamless coordination, and providing oversight for construction surveillance services.
Ideal Candidate:
- Education & Certifications: Professional Engineering License (PE) & Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
- Understanding of State, Federal, and local regulations specific to sanitary sewers and wastewater treatment
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D as a design tool for the preparation of plans
- Understanding of hydraulic modeling (SewerGEMs or similar) is preferred
- Ability to work within multiple design teams and execute to meet demanding schedules.
