About the Role
Job Title: Financial Data Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor cloud financial performance using data analytics tools.
- Create and maintain dashboards to visualize key metrics and KPIs.
- Analyze trends and anomalies to support cost optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and support financial models for cost attribution.
- Ensure financial tools are user-friendly, scalable, and up to date.
- Stay informed on cloud cost management tools and FinOps practices.
- Continuously seek opportunities for innovation and process improvements in cloud cost management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of FinOps practices and frameworks.
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP preferred; Azure is acceptable).
- Proficiency in data analytics, visualization, and financial modeling tools.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, and/or Apptio BI.
- Expertise in Apptio Cloudability.
- Ability to translate business requirements into actionable product deliverables.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of ETL methods, processes, and standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Apptio TBM.
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $110,000 – $120,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
