About Our Client:
Nursing shortages are the #1 problem for health systems. Over the last 3 years, labor spend has increased > 260% but revenues aren’t keeping up, and current staffing and scheduling processes are broken and antiquated. Nursing leaders are spending 50% of their time on manual scheduling tasks, while staffing decisions typically come down to a combination of phone-tag and guesswork.
Our client is building revolutionary platform that helps health systems proactively fill staffing gaps by automating outreach to the right nurse at the right time while optimizing for cost. They have already secured $2M+ ARR from 18 different contracts, and have raised $3.8M from top seed investors and executives at hospitals around the country.
This role is an opportunity to join an early-stage startup as one of the first employees and directly impact how their team builds and ships product. This will be the *6th* engineer on the team!
As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll..
- work directly with the founders and users to define the product and engineering roadmap
- interface with health systems, clinicians, digital health companies, and more to iterate on our product and ensure it serves our customers + users well as we scale
- own and ship product features from inception to implementation
- build exceptional user experiences that allow healthcare workers to take control of their mental health journey
- mentor engineers and others around you to build a culture of technical excellence as the team grows

- TypeScript, React, Postgres, Python

Responsibilities
- Product Ownership: Drive the development of features to facilitate rapid iteration, evolution, and scalability.
- High-Quality Code: Write human readable, high-performance, and maintainable code
- Customer Engagement: Actively collect feedback from customers and users to inform product development and new features.
- Contribute to Roadmap: Balance trade-offs between speed, reliability, UX, and technical debt to deliver on our cycle goals and long-term visions.

- Build cost-optimizing algorithm to recommend staffing decisions based on patient demand and resources
