Position Summary:
Coordination of activities and compliance with regulatory entities such as FAA, EASA, Military Agencies, etc. Management of Unical 145 Inc. internal quality system including, but not limited to, the items listed below.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating with CHDO on activities requiring acceptance of the Administrator. These include, but are not limited to, implementing changes to the repair station Ops Spec, Repair Station Manuals and FAA approved training Program.
- Assist with reviewing and updating of the RSQCM to ensure compliance with the FAA requirements.
- Assist with establish a monitoring system ensuring that all FARs, Ads, OEMs’ CMM, Service Bulletins (SB’s), Service Letters (SL’s), related FAA approved data, etc. are current when requested and controlled. Make available to Operations up-to-date technical data needed for accomplishing the necessary maintenance activities.
- Maintain records of all work performed by this Repair Station in a manner easily accessible upon request.
- Assist with coordinating internal and external audits in order to ensure compliance with customer specifications, FAA and EASA.
- Assessing, approving and maintaining the approved contracted maintenance function list and suppliers, as well as maintaining the expertise necessary to meet regulatory requirements.
- Assist with coordinating external audits of certificated sub-contractors annually, as well as external audits of non-certificated sub-contractors who perform maintenance on aircraft parts as necessary.
- Provide guidance on matters pertaining to Quality Assurance, general operations, problems, policies, procedures and guidelines as necessary, under the guidance of the QA Manager.
- Investigate non-conformance root causes resulting from internal and external discrepancies, as well as issue corrective and/or preventive actions. QA Administrator will ensure corrective and/or preventive actions are implemented and effective.
- Any other duties assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to read and interpret technical publications
- Provide technical assistance to Mechanic Assistants and Aircraft Painters as directed. May include cleaning
- Ability to drive a forklift.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Ability to understanding of FAA and EASA regulations and aviation maintenance.
- AS9100/ISO9001 auditor experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
- Understanding of business metrics and report preparation
- Project Management experience
Travel:

Lifting: Maximum of 50lbs.

Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in machine shop/component repair environment.
- Momentary exposure to high noises.
- Exposure to chemicals and cleaning agents.
- Personal Protection Equipment will be required for certain tasks.
