The ideal candidate will interact with sales and production in designing, developing and implementing custom addons to the standard machinery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and design of custom machinery from cradle to grave
- Collaborating with clients and production on specific requirements and translating those requirements into practical designs for the machinery
- Researching and analyzing each project's bills of material and technologies
- Creating detailed schematics and engineering drawings using AutoCAD
- Providing oversight of technicians and engineering to ensure proper manufacturing and assembly
- Collaborating with Procurement, Maintenance and Production to ensure each product is delivered successfully
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience working in a Custom machine manufacturer
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Ability to read and understand designs and schematics
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
