Remote Part-time Contract L&E Attorney
Location: Texas, Massachusetts, South Carolina, North Carolina, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Missouri, California, Florida, Tennessee, New York, New Jersey, Washington, Oregon, or Delaware
Duration: Approximately 5-6 months with possible extension
Hourly Pay Rate: $50-$80/hour depending upon experience
Schedule: Up to 25 hours/week during regular business hours (W2 contractor)
About the Role:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a talented and experienced contract L&E attorney to play a crucial role in supporting our law firm client’s team in a temporary litigation project on a part-time basis. Your creativity, adaptability, and intense labor and employment litigation background will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and writing
- Prepare for trial, including drafting motions, briefs, and exhibits
- Assist with depositions and other discovery procedures
- Investigate factual issues and interview witnesses
- Utilize legal databases and case management software proficiently
Requirements:
- 4+ years of recent experience in labor and employment litigation as a licensed US attorney
- You must live, work, and be actively licensed in the same state!
- Strong legal writing and research skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal databases, case management, and legal billing software
- Experience with trial preparation and depositions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with California Fair Employment and Housing Act cases is preferred
- Must be available to start within two weeks and work up to 25 hours/week during regular business hours
- You must be able to commit to working exclusively on this project. No concurrent work is permitted.
Pay Details: $50.00 to $80.00 per hour
