Position Overview
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and accurately. This includes managing staff, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating shipments and deliveries, and ensuring compliance with all warehouse policies and procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position will directly supervise Department Managers and indirectly manage the entire team within their area of responsibility.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Develop and implement processes to ensure that all warehouse activities are performed efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize storage space and minimize stock shortages.
- Coordinate and oversee all inbound and outbound shipments and deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including proper use of equipment and handling of hazardous materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics and implement strategies to improve performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.
- Ensure compliance with all warehouse policies and procedures; maintain a clean, organized facility.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of OSHA Standards and regulations.
Education and Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, and personnel management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- SAP experience preferred.
- WMS experience preferred.
- PIT experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times; seldom required to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.
- Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment.
