Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations to maximize process efficiency and productivity. This role will require a strong background in supply chain management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.
- Oversee the entire supply chain process, including procurement, vendor/supplier relationships, inventory management, and logistics.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of supply chain operations to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as manufacturing, engineering, production, quality control, and sales/marketing, to ensure seamless operations.
- Utilize supply chain management software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and present reports on supply chain activities and performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing supply chain strategies.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
