Director, Insights and Analytics - Neuroscience OR Rare Diseases
Our client is a leading pharmaceutical companyseeking a Director, Insights and Analytics. As the key partner to commercial and marketing leadership, you will help identify & address the most important business problems facing the franchise via insights and analytics. This employee will define and evaluate brand performance, enable data-driven decisions, and deliver actionable insights. Responsibilities include insights and analytics, including primary marketing research, secondary analytics, forecasting guidance, and competitive intelligence.

Responsibilities:
- Drive insights agenda: Scope, lead, and deliver cross-functional projects across core insights functions, including market research, forecasting support, competitive intelligence, brand analytics, and field analytics
- Deliver high quality ad hoc analyses to MS / Neurology leadership (or Rare Disease) that offer clear recommendations in support of brand strategy
- Collaborate with Advanced Analytics and Orchestration team and other Business Intelligence and Operations teams to support initiatives to guide brand strategy and execution
- Lead Integrated Customer Plan and Annual Operating Plan and provide commercial team with comprehensive performance, target audience, and market insights to support strategy & resource investment
- Cultivate strong relationships and effective ways of working within the Marketing team and amongst cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical, etc.), building consensus/buy-in amongst teams
- Manage insights spend to allocated budget; pursue novel research methodologies that offer new capabilities and ways to optimize project efficiency
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 +years relevant experience with a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturer
- Executive presence
- Deep analytics experience
- Solid understanding of commercial business and industry standard datasets – script (IQVIA, Symphony, etc.), Patient (Specialty Pharmacies/Distributors), and Managed Care (Symphony, etc.).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skill set, including Excel modeling skills
- Excellent strategic thinking capabilities with ability to synthesize large amounts of information and logically structure PowerPoint deliverables
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Driven, highly self-motivated, confident, high-energy individual
