Job Title: Senior HR Generalist

Position Summary:
The Senior HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in both our HR department and our Foundation. This individual will focus on recruiting for corporate functions, support key talent management programs, and oversee the administration of our scholarship program. This role requires a dynamic individual who can balance talent acquisition with hands-on HR generalist duties while supporting our community outreach work.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
General HR Support:
- Act as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
- Support the offboarding process, including scheduling exit interviews and tracking attrition data.
- Interpret, assist, and advise employees on company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and understanding.
- Contribute to cross-functional HR initiatives aimed at improving overall HR processes and programs.
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead the recruitment process for corporate functions, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviewing and offer.
- Prepare offer letters and oversee the onboarding process, including the creation of new hire packets, verification and tracking of employment documents, and scheduling of orientations.
Foundation Support:
- Administer the foundation’s scholarship program, including facilitating application processes, evaluations, and communications with recipients.
- Coordinate volunteer activities that align with the company’s foundation goals, ensuring employee engagement and community impact.
- Organize and promote veteran-centric causes and events within the community, including partnerships with local organizations and outreach efforts.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organization Development, or a related field. SHRM CP, SHRM SCP, PHR, or related certifications preferred.
- Working knowledge of HR compliance, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Experience in creating, implementing, and evaluating new employee initiatives and developing employee communication plans.
- Creative and critical thinker with the ability to maintain complete confidentiality of information.
- Ability to forge strong relationships based on honesty and trust; authentic, genuine, and credible.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information and recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Analytical mindset, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
