We’re looking to hire a Visual Designer for a Fortune 500 entertainment client. Team culture is based on open communication, accountability, and collaboration.
You’ll join the Design team to collaborate with Product Designers: Partner with product designers to understand project requirements, user flows, and design concepts.. This is a 6 – month contract + extension. The team is located in Los Angeles, CA, and the role is on-site 2-3 days/week.
Visual Designer Responsibilities:
- Create Visual Assets: Design and develop a wide range of visual assets including: UI elements (buttons, icons, typography), Illustrations, Infographics, Motion graphics, Brand guidelines
- Ensure Visual Consistency: Maintain consistency across all visual assets, ensuring they adhere to our brand style and guidelines.
- Optimize for User Experience: Design visuals that are visually appealing, easy to navigate, and enhance the overall user experience.
- Stay Updated on Trends: Keep abreast of the latest design trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Provide Design Feedback: Offer constructive feedback on design concepts to ensure they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
Visual Designer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Digital Visual Designer.
- Strong proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, etc.).
- Experience working with digital product designers and understanding UX/UI principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong design skills and ability to create visually appealing assets.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.).
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with animation and motion design software.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines.
