We are working with a manufacturing company in Fresno that is looking for a Sage X3 Application Manager. The candidate must be able to be on site for two weeks a month for the first 6 months to train and then can be fully remote. Company will pay for travel.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the management of Sage X3 modules related to manufacturing, including Bill of Materials (BoMs), work orders, inventory management, and production planning
- Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
- Understand and manage the integration between Sage X3 manufacturing modules and financial modules, including standard costing, average costing, financial sites, and general ledger.
- Ensure accurate cost accounting and financial reporting for manufacturing operations.
- Ensure smooth flow of materials and products through the supply chain.
- Understand and manage the integration between Sage X3 manufacturing modules and sales and purchasing modules, including sales orders, purchase orders, invoicing, and inventory management.
- Develop project plans, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
- Ensure successful project delivery within budget and scope.
- Lead Sage X3-related projects, including implementations, upgrades, and customizations.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
- Manage relationships with Sage X3 vendors and service providers.
- Ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Integrate Sage X3 with other applications, such as AP automation and QMS systems.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience working with Sage X3 ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successful Sage X3 implementations and maintenance.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing concepts, including BoMs, work orders, inventory management, and production planning.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including standard costing, average costing, and financial sites.
- Experience with sales and purchasing processes, including sales orders, purchase orders, and invoicing.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading projects from start to finish.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience managing other applications, such as AP automation and QMS systems.
Optional/Nice to Haves:
- Basic or semi-advanced knowledge of Sage X3 server architecture (database, application, web).
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI
