Erie Home is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to join our team. This role involves supporting various HR functions including career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation, employee relations, and more. The HR Business Partner will optimize HR system functionalities, improve processes, and handle onboarding to ensure exceptional experiences both internally and externally.
About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k)).
- Manage benefits enrollment and address inquiries.
- Oversee new-hire processes and onboarding.
- Implement and monitor HR compliance and policies.
- Process leave-of-absence and disability paperwork.
- Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS.
- Assist with HR projects and communication efforts.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Minimum 5 years in HR administration.
- Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand, no matter how small, by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for communicating with internal and external parties in a manner that is both articulate and professional.
- Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, email, and social media avenues that keeps the co-worker or customer’s needs at the forefront of every interaction.
- Experience working with a broker to source new carrier.
- Proficiency in HRIS Systems and using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
- Strong communication skills and detail-oriented.
- Legally authorized to work without visa sponsorship.
