ERP PMO – SAP, Oracle, Dynamics365, D365, PMO, Project Management Officer, PMO Lead, PMO Analyst, Project Management Office, Prince2 - Contract – W2 - $60-$80ph
Our client, a global Manufacturing company, require an ERP PMO to join their team and support their program management office as part of their upcoming SAP implementation.
The role will involve a mix of remote and on-site work in Dallas so candidates need to be based within a commutable distance.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years ERP PMO experience – SAP preferred but other tier 1 ERPs would also be considered (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
Main Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management: The PMO is responsible for creating and maintaining a comprehensive project plan that outlines the project’s scope, schedule, budget, and resources required. They must also work with the project team to agree roles and responsibilities and create a communication plan that includes regular status updates and stakeholder engagement. The PMO should monitor progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
- Risk Management: The PMO must identify project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks. They should be proactive in identifying risks and work with stakeholders to develop a risk management plan that includes risk assessment, risk response, and risk monitoring.
- Program Support: The PMO is responsible for providing support to the Program, including scheduling meetings, organizing community events, formatting, maintaining issue logs and risk registers, taking minutes, and reporting. They must ensure all information and documentation is processed, maintained, monitored, and filed.
- Regulations & Standards: The PMO must ensure that the program is compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Stakeholder Management: The PMO must work closely with stakeholders, including the executive team, department managers, IT personnel, and end-users, to ensure the SAP ERP system meets the organization’s requirements and objectives. They must develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, communicate project updates, and manage expectations to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Resource Management: The PMO must manage project resources, including project team members, vendors, and contractors. They must ensure that the project team is appropriately staffed, trained, and motivated to achieve project objectives.
- Budget Management: The PMO must establish a project budget, track costs, and report on budget variances. They must work with stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and develop contingency plans to manage project costs effectively.
