We have an Oil & Gas company in the Permian Basin looking for (2) Facilities Engineers to join their team in either their Carlsbad, NM or Midland, TX office.

Role Summary
Operations Support:
- Assist Asset Leadership, Operation, and Engineering Teams in optimizing strategies, modifying facilities, and making risk-based decisions.
- Develop plans to address facilities performance deficiencies, bottlenecks, and integrity issues.
- Lead strategies for real-time or long-term facilities/process optimization analysis.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for troubleshooting and facility incident investigations.
- Lead or support the development of local site projects while ensuring adherence to Process Safety Engineering Principles.
- Manage changes to Heat & Material Balances, Process Flow Diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Drive optimization studies, field verifications, and early equipment sizing.
- Participate or lead field-based activities to support systems completion, turnover, and start-up.
- Mentor less experienced facilities engineers.
Projects Support:
- Support various stages of project activities, including Facilities Planning, Technologies Selection, etc.
- Assist in the development of Heat & Material Balances, Process Flow Diagrams, for new facilities.
- Drive or support optimization studies, field verifications, and early equipment sizing.
- Implement the Right Scope Framework for Stage 1 Projects.
- Participate in facilities and systems reviews and resolutions, including P&ID, HAZOP, 3D Models, Control and Safety Instrumented System reviews.
- Participate in field-based activities to support systems completion, turnover, and start-up.
- Mentor lesser experienced facilities engineers.
Specific Job Requirements/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, or Electrical Mechanical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria.
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
- Fluent in English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.
