The Department of Art and Design is seeking candidates for a full-time tenure-track or full-time professional practice-track position in Interaction Design and New Media. The University is seeking an individual capable of excellent teaching, committed to significant involvement with students both within and outside of the classroom, and interested in participating in the academic unit’s service learning and/or undergraduate research programs.
The Department of Art and Design has a strong commitment to teaching excellence, and passion for building Christian community with students, a tradition of high impact academic practices, and experience in using our skills for collaborative and interdisciplinary work.
Responsibilities begin August 2025 and will include teaching a wide variety of courses in Design, Interaction Design, and New Media. Academic rank and compensation levels will be based on degrees earned and related experience.

Salary:
PLNU pays its faculty using a payscale based on experience and academic rank. Faculty salaries using this scale for a 2-semester appointment range from $73,245 to $126,825. The actual salary will be based on the experience, rank, and appointment term of the candidate selected to fill this position.Job Status:
