Role : IT Systems Administrator/ Consultant
Location : Defiance, OH (Hybrid)
Duration : Full Time
As a Systems Administrator/Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing the Firm's activities in technical areas and ensure that the highest level of performance is being achieved for the Firm and its clients. This position receives work from the Director of IT, Managing Partner and the Head of the Technology Committee. You'll work closely with Supervisors, Managers, Principals, and Partners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose IT problems.
- Identify root causes and implement solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Support internal team members and external clients by resolving IT support requests as well as providing training and instructions on how to use business programs.
- Generating sign ins for new hires and terminating access upon exit of team members.
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems for specific offices, including servers, PCs, operating systems, telephones, software applications, and peripherals.
- Provide expertise and support during systems upgrades, installations, conversions, and file maintenance.
- Provide support during systems development and enhancement and the integration of new systems with existing systems.
- Work with Director of IT to develop strategies and plans to enhance client services, improve user effectiveness, and foster innovation.
- Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements.
- Implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
- Support the overall mission and follow all standards, policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.
- Comply with the Firm’s policies, procedures, manuals, forms, and relevant software.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a consultant to clients by troubleshooting and analyzing client IT issues.

- This position occasionally requires long hours, occasional weekend work and additional on-call availability during busy season.

Required Experience and Skillsets
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or minimum of four (4) years of recent experience within information technology.
- Experience in the most current technologies and products used in the industry.
- Experience in Windows operating systems.
- Experience in Citrix and/or SQL preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to gather information as well as explain complex technical concepts in simple language.
- Strong observational skills to recognize warning signs that indicate potential problems.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally and positively with team members and clients.
