Job Title: Special Events Sales Manager
Client; OC Vibe OC Sports and Entertainment
Duration: Full-Time
Location: Anaheim, CA
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Strategy:
- Achieve annual venue sales goals, targeting $1M+ in top-line sales per year.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for multiple venue spaces, ensuring each venue’s unique offerings are effectively communicated.
- Client Engagement:
- Network with potential clients and industry stakeholders to foster relationships and secure new business.
- Conduct venue walkthroughs and presentations to showcase offerings.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with logistics and account management teams to maintain strong client relationships and ensure successful event execution.
- Work alongside other teams to leverage support and resources for sales initiatives.
- Market Knowledge:
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Event Software Proficiency:
- Utilize event management software (Cvent, Venue Ops, Triple Seat, DelpFi, Caterease) to manage client interactions and streamline the sales process.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in venue sales for events, with a demonstrated ability to sell $1M+ annually.
- Experience selling across multiple venues with different aesthetics and functionalities is a plus.
- Education & Skills:
- Strong networking and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients.
- Familiarity with event software systems and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
