Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a Human Resources Manager with strong interpersonal skills and business acumen to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The ideal candidate is experienced in a business partner human resources model and is self-motivated, experienced in managing a bilingual workforce, and proven in fostering an inclusive and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HR initiatives, including employee engagement, talent strategy, recruiting, employee relations and benefits.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Oversee the recruiting process and manages onboarding.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of HR management experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and verbal/written communication skills.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP desired.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent
