Description:
Summary
Inspects final products as well as components that go into the final products at various stages of the production process, including receiving inspection. Responsible for following documentation requirements, preparing inspection records, writing Non-Conformance reports and other quality documentation as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Inspects raw materials, parts, component, and finished product for compliance with dimensional and performance specifications using established inspection plans.
- Documents inspection observations and reports non-conformances in the computer system.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Excellent attendance

- Knowledge of Work and Data Base Compute Systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/manuals/diagrams, etc.
- Good oral and written communication skills necessary.
- Reading and comprehension skills required.
- Ability to speak effectively and professionally communicate with suppliers, supervisors, associates and customers
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and blueprints.
- Ability to use MS Outlook to effectively communicate via internet/network.
- Minimum requirement: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
- Beginner level: Experienced in working with Quality Engineering principles and statistical analysis.
- Ability to interpret blueprint dimensions and specifications for inspection purposes.
- Ability to determine measurement method and tools needed for inspection purposes.
- Ability to apply good sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to identify needs for improvement in processes and procedures.
- Ability to know when to request directions as needed. Self-starter to seek answers and solve problems.
