Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled EAI/EDI Application Administrator Developer to manage and optimize enterprise application integrations. This role will focus on administering and troubleshooting messaging systems, databases, and web applications, ensuring smooth software and hardware updates. You will also provide high-level support for service requests and escalations, particularly around SAP modules for EAI and EDI using webMethods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain EAI/EDI interfaces to facilitate efficient enterprise communication and data exchange.
- Monitor and optimize systems to ensure peak performance.
- Document IT activities, system configurations, updates, and downtime for future reference.
- Manage system setups and configurations for new projects requiring specialized solutions.
- Provide technical support to helpdesk staff and handle escalations related to EAI/EDI systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Information Systems with a focus on XML & WebService development (XML, XSL, DTD, XSLT, SOAP, WSDL, EDI).
- Proven experience in developing and troubleshooting EAI/EDI interfaces.
- Strong experience with web services, particularly RESTful services (APIs).
- Expertise in webMethods development and administration (preferably version 10.x).
- In-depth knowledge of A2A and B2B solutions, including B2B standards such as X12 EDI and Flat file formats.
- Experience with SFTP protocols and PGP encryption for secure data transmission.
- Familiarity with Trading Networks and partner onboarding.
Preferred Certifications:
- webMethods Integration Professional Certification
- Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) certification
