Job Overview:
Join our Commercial Operations team as a Business Intelligence Analyst, where you'll contribute to the Strategic Customer Support Team, focusing on U.S. operations. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio across logistics, transportation, warehousing, order management, and planning. You will leverage your expertise to generate actionable insights and enhance business processes by developing automated systems to monitor and analyze complex business data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated systems to track, analyze, and maintain business data.
- Analyze business operations to identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
- Gather and synthesize data on technology processes or systems, developing functional specifications.
- Create project deliverables, provide post-implementation support, and assist with system enhancements.
- Collaborate on business process redesign and provide expertise on business unit operations.
- Develop predictive models to assess program effectiveness and identify business opportunities.
- Present findings and provide recommendations to management, ensuring adherence to standard procedures and policies.
- Handle ad hoc reporting and analysis of large-scale, complex functions as needed.
- Serve as a resource in specific business areas, offering analytical expertise and supporting solution implementation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in business/systems analysis or data analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, relational databases, SQL, and PC applications.
- Proven ability to develop and implement technical solutions to meet business needs.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in solving complex business challenges.
- Experience in presenting insights to various audiences, including senior leadership.
- Familiarity with supply chain/logistics operations (e.g., material handling, warehousing, order management, demand planning).
- Proficiency in ETL and data visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau Prep).
- Proficiency in SAP applications.
- Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
