Python Developer/Systems Engineer II
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Python-based applications to support system engineering tasks.
• Design and implement automation scripts for system monitoring, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather system requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing support for Python-based tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate on systems integration, testing, and deployment in both development and production environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring system reliability and scalability.
• Assist with code reviews and system documentation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; Master’s Degree is a plus.
• More than 5 years of python experience; 1 year with Django
• Strong understanding, analyzing, and implementing – Business needs, feature modification requests, conversion into software components
• Developing experience working with Backend components to enhance performance and receptiveness, server-side logic, and platform, statistical learning models, highly responsive web applications
• Strong Unix shell, Bash skills
• Experience in NetConf, RestAPI, .JSON network configuration tools
• Strong experience with Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Paramiko, Psftp, Django etc.
• Experience with Django, Web frameworks and RESTful API
• Familiar with MS SQL Server Database
• Working experience with Jira and Bit bucket
