Title: Human Resources Manager Reports to: Chief Human Resources Officer
Position Summary:
As the HR leader for the Client Company in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, you will be part of the site’s leadership team and report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer of Corporate Office’s Poultry Ranch, Inc. You will oversee and be hands-on in all human resources functions for the site, supporting employees and leadership by ensuring the delivery of a best-in-class HR experience. In addition to managing site-specific HR responsibilities, you will also lead employee relations efforts across all company locations. You will play a critical role in employee retention and engagement, leadership development, and creating a positive work environment that aligns with Corporate Office’s company culture and values.
Position Responsibilities:
Site HR Leadership:
- Serve as the primary HR contact for Client Company, providing guidance on HR-related matters, employment law, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with site leadership to address staffing needs, recruitment, employee development, and workforce planning.
- Oversee employee performance management, including coaching, mentoring, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal labor laws, as well as company policies.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll processes in partnership with the corporate HR team.
- Champion employee engagement initiatives and foster a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Employee Relations (All Sites):
- Lead and manage employee relations issues across all locations, including handling investigations, dispute resolution, and conflict mediation.
- Develop strategies to address and resolve performance, disciplinary, and employee relations matters.
- Collaborate with managers and supervisors to implement effective coaching, counseling, and solutions to employee relations challenges.
- Use data from surveys, exit interviews, and stay interviews to analyze trends, identify root causes of employee turnover, and implement strategies for improving retention.
- Drive initiatives that strengthen company culture and improve employee satisfaction, including leadership development, training, and employee engagement programs.
Training & Development:
Provide leadership in identifying training needs and developing programs to support employee growth and development.
Facilitate leadership training, workshops, and performance check-ins to build organizational capability.
Program & Policy Management:
Collaborate on company-wide strategic HR initiatives, such as company-wide employee engagement surveys, performance management improvements, career pathway development, and leadership development programs.
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and programs to ensure compliance and alignment with company goals.
Ensure HR fundamentals, including maintaining personnel records, compliance with legal requirements, customer audits, and the administration of policies and procedures, are executed consistently and effectively.
Other Responsibilities:
Be flexible and adaptive to other duties as assigned, contributing to HR initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of HR Business Partner or related HR experience, including significant experience managing employee relations.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but is not required.
