Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Field Engineer at RED E. The Field Engineer will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks associated with electric vehicle charging systems. This includes troubleshooting, field service, technical support, and project management. The role is based in Detroit, MI, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to get your hands dirty
- Travel and road trips required
- Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Testing / electronics experience
- Experience in electric vehicle charging systems is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Flexibility to travel and work in different locations
- Electrical or mechanical engineering degree is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
