Kane Partners is looking for an Operations Manager with experience in a machine shop environment – experienced with Quality, Process Improvement, Purchasing raw materials, and Productivity.
· Management, business knowledge, and leadership capabilities with broad experience across multiple related disciplines
· Attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines; multi-task oriented; and ability to work under pressure
· Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply
· Plans and administers procedures and budgets
· Directly provides support to all divisions and departments of the company vendors and subcontractors
· Controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor and is responsible for managing the following activities related to operations: manufacturing, production planning, manufacturing engineering, test, quality
· Extensively analyzes implications of both near and long-term solution
· Solutions are innovative and often define best practice for the future
· Coordinate with supply chain and procurement to align resource availability with production needs
· Monitor production metrics and adjust plans as necessary to meet targets
· Knowledge of GD&T and technical standards
· AS9100 – ITAR – ISO9001 standards
· Experienced with materials purchasing
