Akkodis is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer for a Manufactuing position with a client located in Omaha, NE. The Quality Systems Engineer will develop and implement the strategy, initiatives, and measurement systems for the integration and cycles of improvement of our clients Quality Management System. This position will support the plants and/or corporate functions in their process maturity as necessary towards full compliance with the ISO9001:2015 standard.
Pay/Salary Range: $68,000/yr - $109,000/yr
Required Skills
- Functional knowledge of manufacturing and support function operations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
- Intermediate knowledge of quality improvement and project management tools
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/specifications
- Working knowledge of an applied Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO9001, AS9100, etc.)
- Intermediate PC skills and demonstrated competency in all Microsoft Office and related software
Preferred Skills
- ASQ Certification (e.g. CQT, CQE, or CMQ/OE)
- Lead Quality Systems Auditor Certification
- Expereince in use of Oracle software
