VP Strategy, Medical Communications
You will lead and define the medical communications strategy for the Agency’s Pharma clients, using a deep understanding of the market, the customers, competition, and the brand.
Your role involves identifying and effectively communicating actionable implications and recommendations to clients. You are experienced in uncovering novel insights and crafting innovative strategic advice. This client-facing position emphasizes the importance of being perceived as a trusted partner to clients.
Role involves:
- Developing deliverables for strategic purposes, such as competitive analysis; brand positioning; brand plans; creative core idea; creative briefs; market research synthesis, workshops
- Strategic thinking and analysis
- Determining tools and data touchpoints to expand agency capabilities
- Understanding the needs and triggers for behavior within HCPs and/or patients, as well as drivers, and opportunities therein
- Forging strong relationships with client teams
- Supporting business development efforts (RFP’s, pitching, new and existing relationship development
Your background:
- 6+ years experience in pharmaceutical marketing / healthcare advertising / strategy consulting
- Experience with AOR work, promotional brand work, launching marketing plans
- Experience in launching rare disease brands or products strongly preferred
- Prior experience leading and crafting communications strategy and programs for an Agency
- Able to work hybrid in New York or New Jersey
