About the Role -
This position is looking for one with a strong understanding and demonstrated experience in Army Logistics and a thorough understanding of Army Regulations for Property, Maintenance, and Equipment.
Responsibilities -
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- SME in Army Logistics.
- A minimum of 15 years' experience in Equipment, Maintenance, and Property Management within the Army Logistics processes.
- Serve and support Project/Program Manager on contract assignments and objectives.
- Manage administrative details and maintain daily contact with direct reports to enhance communication and proactively identify and resolve work related issues.
- Provide daily direction and guidance while managing ATEC assigned team members for execution of duties and ensure project/program standards are maintained.
- Recruit, interview, hire and train new ATEC staff.
- Coach, counsel, employees assigned to support ATEC HQ.
- Adhere to and enforce company, project/program policies and procedures.
- Protect and control proprietary documents and processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of management.
- Briefs Army senior officers, civilians, and their staffs on Army logistics principles.
Equipment/Maintenance Management Support -
- Provides guidance to the G-4 staff and subordinate organizations (SO’s) on proper Army Logistic controls and procedures IAW published Army and ATEC regulations.
- Guides and trains subordinate organizations logistics automation transformation.
- Oversee and manage equipment and maintenance management functional areas to include but not limited to data collection, analysis, and reporting of vehicles and equipment.
- Recommend changes to SO procedures as needed.
Property Management Support -
- Oversee and manage property management support to include but not limited to Property Accountability, Shipping/Receiving Operations, Tool Crib Issue/Inventory, Weapons Management, Fuel Management and Logistics Operations Support for Test Programs in support of ATC.
- Recommend changes to SO procedures as needed.
Qualifications -
Minimum education requirement for this position is an associate degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, or related field. A higher education level is desired.
Preferred Skills-
- 5 years' experience using GCSS-A in various roles, to include Access Administration (AA).
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in Army Logistics at the strategic level.
