Payer Enrollment Specialist

Opportunity: 13 week contract
Location: Norwood, OH
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm (100% onsite)
Compensation: $25-30/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Complete and review Provider applications with accuracy and thoroughness, contacting providers for application information when necessary
- Contact government agencies and manage care companies to obtain status and resolve discrepancies related to provider applications
- Follow-up with physicians and assist with completing applications
- Ensure timely submissions of all re-appointments and re-credentials
- Verify all licenses are current and maintains internal files including copies of current credentials
- Follow up and communicate regularly with TCHMA Administration, Billing Department and Office Manager
- Maintain accuracy of and update CAQH database
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in credentialing in a healthcare environment.
- Excellent computer skills, to include word processing, spreadsheet and database management.
- Strong CAQH knowledge preferred
- Cactus/ Symplr experience preferred
- Strong Excel experience
- Attention to detail and accuracy
