Job Summary: As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a key advocate for our customers, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of professionalism and efficiency. You will act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and concerns. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team, including production, sales, and logistics departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Advocacy: Act as a primary liaison between the customer and internal teams, ensuring that the customer's needs are clearly communicated and met.
- Order Management: Process and manage customer orders, track shipments, and ensure on-time delivery of food products to retail and food service outlets.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with production, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of orders, inventory management, and customer satisfaction.
- Communication: Maintain clear, proactive communication with customers to provide updates on order status, resolve issues, and address any inquiries.
- Problem-solving: Handle customer complaints and issues efficiently, ensuring a positive outcome that balances customer satisfaction with company policies.
- Data Management: Maintain in accurate records of customer orders, communications, and transactions in the company's ERP system.
Qualifications:
- Two or four-year degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in customer service, preferably within the food industry or similar environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning) and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) interfaces.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team, coordinating efforts between production, supply chain, and sales.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage difficult conversations with a positive outcome.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food service or retail food industry
- Knowledge of ERP systems and experience managing orders through EDI interfaces
- Familiarity with order processing systems and supply chain logistics
