Job Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Patient Services, the Associate Director of Patient Services is responsible and accountable for the NS SupportTM patient services program performance including the HUB, Non-Commercial Pharmacy (NCP) and the Co-Pay program. This role creates a direct interface for the patient services team and market access internal stakeholders ensuring programs meet patient and provider needs. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of these programs and all relevant interactions and support of both internal (PEL, DPA) and external (HCP, SOC, Payer) stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- In collaboration with Patient Services team, lead all aspects of the NS Support programs for the Company’s marketed product in DMD. Works with the Sr. Director in defining strategy and KPIs.
- Manage, monitor, and track the Patient Services Hub, NCP and Co-Pay budget and daily activities. Report to the Sr. Director for any gap, discrepancies or issues and propose resolutions.
- Establish commercial priorities and liaise with the Sr. Director, Patient Services and executive management including internal business partners to communicate the business impact of patient support programs.
- Accountable for NS Support initiatives and program performance by reporting the progress and development to the Sr. Director, Patient Services.
- Ensures established strategic objectives aligns with the Company goals and communicated to all Patient Services team members and relevant internal key stakeholder function.
- Leads strategic patient services related projects and initiatives working with cross-functional partners and senior leadership. Ensure in completing the projects and initiatives the process is within expectations with cross-functional team members.
- Perform other task necessary to support the daily operations of Patient Services.
Qualifications
- HUB, Non-Commercial Pharmacy and Co-Pay program experience for a pharmaceutical company with rare disease or orphan drugs.
- Experience working for a 3rd party vendor with a track record of career advancement who offer HUB, Non-Commercial Pharmacy and Co-Pay solutions to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong strategic business acumen and a data-driven mindset.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and contributed to strategic planning.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to gain alignment on customer needs, objectives, and priorities, to optimize business and customer outcomes.
- Ability to understand brand needs and trends to inform proactive business planning and prioritization.
- Experience in building relationships across internal and external teams
- Strong written and communication skills, presentation skills, and ability to navigate complex situations.
- Ability to influence across functions to gain consensus on solutions.
Education & Experience
- Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business or related field, advance degrees in MBA or Master’s is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industries.
- 10+ years of experience working in roles involving strategic business execution, and patient services.
