Power Delivery Project Manager
Our client, who is a large multinational engineering firm for the power industry is looking for a Power Delivery Project Manager at multiple locationsthat will be responsible for driving Power Delivery projects, building and managing client relationships, and promoting the company's Power Delivery services to both current and potential clients in the region.
Responsibilities
- Foster company culture and managing relationships both internally and externally.
- Oversee project status reports, invoices, accounts receivable, and unbilled items for each project.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure project success.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the project team.
- Maintain schedules, lead project status meetings, manage budgets, and actively. participate in proposal development and client interactions.
- Primarily work within Power Delivery, with potential collaboration across other departments depending on the project.
- Travel locally within the region to meet with clients.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with regional utility companies.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Proven project management expertise, including CPM scheduling, budget oversight, team leadership, proposal development, client engagement, and project presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering management, construction management, or a related field, or 10+ years of relevant professional experience in the electric power and communications sector.
- 10+ years of industry experience, with at least 5 years in project management.
- Experience managing small- to medium-scale projects or leading engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of project management tools and processes.
- General knowledge of transmission systems.
