As an Associate Advisor with our client, you will work closely with the firm's owner, preparing for and participating in client financial planning meetings, analyzing financial data, and managing client action steps. Your role will evolve as you build credibility with clients, eventually serving as a lead advisor for a portion of the firm’s book of business.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare for Client Meetings: Responsible for organizing client information, generating reports, and ensuring that the lead advisor/firm owner is fully prepared for financial planning meetings. This includes reviewing data in advance and highlighting key areas for discussion.
- Participate Actively in Client Meetings: During client meetings, you will listen actively, contribute where appropriate, and take detailed notes. After the meeting, you will ensure that all follow-up tasks are completed promptly and accurately.
- Manage Client Communication: Triage emails and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner. When necessary, you’ll communicate with clients to acknowledge their requests and coordinate follow-up actions.
- Support Financial Planning Efforts: Work closely with the firm’s owner to develop and implement financial plans, using financial planning software like eMoney. Your role will involve conducting financial analysis, tax projections, and managing portfolio reallocations.
- Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Serve as a key point of contact for client service needs, building trust and credibility with clients. Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to transition into a lead advisor role, managing a portion of the firm’s clients.
- Leverage Financial Tools and Continue Learning: Utilize financial planning tools to provide technical analysis and will be expected to continuously improve your skills. As part of a team-oriented firm, you’ll take on detailed tasks as part of your daily responsibilities, knowing that this is crucial for long-term success.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3-4 experience in financial planning, particularly with high-net-worth clients.
- CFP designation is preferred, but candidates actively pursuing the certification are encouraged to apply. You must be committed to completing your CFP.
- Experience with financial planning software like eMoney and Riskalyze is a plus.
- Consultative, service-oriented approach with the ability to demonstrate empathy, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to all aspects of the firm’s work, including detailed technical tasks.
